He did not blame her but he was a bit angry. She disappeared without any news for the whole evening just to fix a phone.

Tang Zheng heard the rustling sounds inside of the room and then the door was opened.

“Big brother.”

Seeing the girl carefully lifted her head, Tang Zheng’s heart turned softer. In the end, she was a pampered little princess.

He just did not like his fate decided by others, that’s all.

“The phone’s broken, just call someone to send one over. Do you not understand such a simple thing?”

Tang Guo lowered her head and did not speak.

“Take it.”

Tang Guo lifted her head, a bit surprised, and she took the exquisite phone. Her lips stretched into a smile and her eyes lit up.

“Big brother, is this for me?”

Tang Zheng seemed to read something from the girl’s eyes. He retracted his smile and his face turned more distant.

“Yes.” His voice was cold. “As Tang family’s young miss, going to a repair store to fix a phone without saying anything is embarrassing if this spreads out.”

Tang Guo pursed her lips and did not say anything. The happy curve of her lips was retracted because of Tang Zheng’s words.

“Lin Yichi called just now, asking what kind of phone you like.” Tang Zheng seemed like he did not notice the girl’s expression. “In the future, if you want to go out on a date with him, I won’t stop you.”

After saying this, Tang Zheng felt that there was nothing more to say and turned to go downstairs.

A cold smile appeared on his lips. He did not like being controlled by others, even feeling something toward a person. He did not like this kind of weakness.

He closed his eyes and could not help but remember at the start of his arrival at Tang family, that the three to four years old girl would follow him everywhere and he felt very repulsed.

Tang Guo played with the phone and laughed, “This kind of person has never been taught a lesson.”

The system hid in a corner while trembling.

“Heh!”

System: It was a bit afraid, what should it do?

“Idiot thing, don’t you think that these people are cheap?”

The system did not dare to speak.

“When you’re good to him, he does not enjoy it obediently. Instead, he wants a red slap, only then will he feel good. Isn’t this masochism?”

The system really did not dare to make a sound. It could not help but remember that in one of the previous worlds, the host got to know a big villain and immediately felt a connection. Perhaps the host had wandered in many worlds for so long and wanted to find someone who understood her.

After the host knew her ending, the host only wanted to live a peaceful life.

When she was good to someone, she would be unconditionally good to that person and would lift that person high.

But, things didn’t go as a man wished.

The host did all things and was good to that person for five years. But in the end, it could not compare to one sentence from the white lotus female lead in the big villain’s heart.

The system suddenly felt its heart was sour. It felt that it had completely turned sides.

【Host, I won’t betray you.】

Tang Guo laughed lightly, “Do I look like I fear betrayal?”

The system went silent. Host’s heart that had been pierced into sieves no longer needed sincerity since she no longer had any heart.

On the second day, Lin Yichi invited Tang Guo and Tang Guo accepted it.

In the next following days, Lin Yichi would make a few romantic occasions and Tang Guo kept accepting it.

Lin Yichi thought that the things he did in the past few days had made the heart of Tang family’s little princess fell tightly in his grasp. It was not that he was overconfident, but Tang Guo’s focused gazes, aside from liking him, couldn’t be explained by other reasons, right?

Lin Yichi had sighed in relief. Because he kept inviting Tang Guo recently, he had not seen Qingqing for a few days.

  1. The brother is a real scum indeed. Orphaned but not being grateful when adopted, used adopted family’s resources to build his business, playing hot and cold towards the girl who liked him instead of making it clear, he truly exploited everything he could from the Tang family..
